Gia K
Gia K’s unique love for music was evident at an early age. As a young child, Gia K’s Jamaican family had a major influence on her blossoming career. Surrounded by music that connected her back to the feel of what life is like in Jamaica, she fell in love with some of the worlds most renowned reggae artists, such as, Bob Marley and Sean Paul. Their sound motivated her to create special yet brilliant blend of Reggae music and rhythm that is like no other. Eager to get involved in the music scene, Gia K began writing and composing her own songs and soon went on to release her first album The Introduction of Gia K in 2010 featuring her hit song All of the Above which quickly became popular across the west coast. Pleased with the response and a growing desire for live performance, Gia went on to promote her music on various social platforms, venues and stages across the country. Since then, Gia’s talents have made way for several performances at San Francisco PRIDE, The 4th annual Dabathon and the opening spot at Ziggy Marley’s Mandalay Bay Beach show performance in Las Vegas. Gia has since released a seven song Album Uplift (2016) in collaboration with independent Hip Hop Artist HighDro and is currently working on an explosive second album, featuring songs that promise to land Gia K a spot on your list of favorite artist.
