“We will continue to use our space & our platforms to amplify the voices of our black community. We will lean on our relationships and have these uncomfortable conversations with anyone to make the shift and change that should have happened long ago. Fergusons Downtown’s ethos is #rootedincommunity to celebrate and highlight our local talent. As this is a “tagline” it means so much more to myself & the Fergusons Team. We as a collective do not stand for racism, hatred, violence, or silencing voices. Myself & the Fergusons Team have worked extremely hard to build a space that LISTENS and is supportive, safe, and inclusive. As we can write all the words, quotes, and statements on how this is true, we would rather show and do these things with ACTIONS. We will take actions that are long-lasting and something that will build continuously over time. We are here to stay, to listen, to learn, to unlearn, and make an impact individually, as a company, as well as with our community. “
